Jewelry designer Fernanda Gustin has a background in fine arts, and has taken specialization courses in Paris and Barcelona, as well as with renowned gem specialists in the areas of design, modeling and goldsmith.
Fernanda's daring designs feature gemstones mined in Brazil and are characterized by a search for a new language in jewelry fashions with an emphasis on design, creativity and color. Her goal is to promote Brazilian design throughout the world. Fernanda creates jewelry with a distinguished esthetic that is elegant and delicate.
Fernanda's exclusive collections include rings, necklaces and earrings with Brazilian gems set in silver and bathed in white gold. They are of great beauty, innovation and creativity. She refers to each design as a "specimen" that is limited to the body of the person wearing it and becomes a living part of her. It may at times seem insignificant, unnecessary, but will always attract the attention of others.
"Jewelry is pure luxury, but will always tell something about the person wearing it, about her personal style, the times she lives, and her surroundings," Fernanda tells us. "Jewelry speaks of the person's life history. Maybe it reminds someone of the jewelry worn by a grandmother, the tie pin a grandfather wore, or even a jewelry piece worn by someone in a film seen sometime ago that holds a special meaning.
"In my work, every line is traced within the demands of contemporary design, original and unique to my time, but most importantly, with a glance to my ancestors, who worked with silver and gold from old mines and the glow of imperial gems."
