Ana Vivian

"I'm Ana Vivian Tintorer Rubli and I was born in Lima. I began crafting jewelry for myself but, when my friends saw it, they asked me to make jewelry for them too. There were times when I'd be wearing my designs and strangers asked me where I got them. Then they'd offer to buy them from me. In this way, I became more and more involved with this art. With each piece of malleable silver, I let my ideas flow and fuse them in each piece I craft. I give all my designs a every fine finish so they are admirable when worn.

"From the time I was a child, I've always liked everything to do with art. I took workshops in ceramics, art glass and silver repoussé. My motivation was to express myself through each art form and every detail of my work. I want to transmit a sense of beauty.

"I like to exhibit my designs. When I show my work and see that people like it, I feel a great satisfaction. I like to express a bit of myself in every piece of jewelry so that people appreciate the effort and love that went into them."
