"Jade was a sacred stone for the Maya. This is why I use it in my designs. I also work with techniques that were used 50 years ago, without the use of machines."
"I've cultivated my artisan dreams since I was a boy. My first piece of traditional silverwork was a Maya design bracelet with quetzal birds, crafted when I was 11. I am a proud father, with well-founded principles and values, always seeking justice, positive thought and hard work to attain everything you could want.
"I am a Guatemalan man. The youngest of four children, I was born January 25, 1980 and my grandparents started the first jewelry factory in our town. They crafted both modern and traditional jewelry.
"When my father died, we went to live with my grandparents. In 2000, my mother migrated to the United States and it was a tough moment. I was forced to be alone. But it was also an opportunity to grow and to dream about my own jewelry designs and my future. I obtained a counter for displaying silverwork and I began selling my jewelry. I started from nothing, working the silver with my own hands under guidance of my grandmother, who involved me in her workshop until I was able to design, craft and sell pieces of my own.
"Silver art was the best possible inheritance. Today I dream of opening shops in different places and being able to leave my daughter an art that has been in our family for several generations.
"I use gold, silver and copper in my work, and what I like best is when shoppers admire and appreciate my designs. I struggle every day to be the best, even though it can be difficult. Thank God I have the support of my wife and her designs. I'm in charge of the workshop and crafting process.
"Jade was a sacred stone for the Maya. This is why I use it in my designs; it helps my work be fully identified with the history, customs and traditions of my country. I also work with techniques that were used 50 years ago, without the use of machines.
"I am very grateful to show my work here, taking a little bit of everything that Guatemala is beyond our borders, and being able to live from the work I enjoy – silver crafts."

I WANT TO SAY A COUPLE OF THINGS - MY BOSS INTRODUCED ME TO NOVICA AS IT IS ONE OF HER FAVORITE SITES FOR JEWELRY FROM AROUND THE WORLD - I ORDERED HER A PAIR OF THE ""PATH OF LIFE"" EARRINGS - THEY CAME IN SUCH A TIMELY MANNER - PACKAGING WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL AND THE EARRINGS ARE SPECTACULAR-THANK YOU SO MUCH - I WILL BE SHOPPING NOVICA REGULARLY AND THIS PARTICULAR ARTIST - LOVE HIS WORK PATTI CRYER USA
Hi Pablo, thank you for the beautiful jade earrings 'Path of Life'. I am very relieved that there was still a pair for sale when I was looking for a gift for someone who happens to be named Jade (shhh everybody - she doesn't know she's getting them yet!). Well, the earrings have arrived and they are fantastic. Such a great design! The stones are great quality and well-matched, and the silverwork really brings out their beauty. The design is very timeless and classic - it's clean, simple and suits any occasion. The gift packaging was extremely charming - I'm beginning to suspect the Novica Americas branches of having a contest about who can have the most charming gift presentation :) Great workmanship and style - I look forward to seeing more of your designs in the future.
I love your Maya Aesthetic earrings. Just beautiful to wear. Will you be making a matching necklace? You have lovely work. Thank you
I bought the ""Green Jaguar"" earings from this artist and am totally in love with the beautiful jade! THanks so much!
Dear Pablo, I recently purchased one of your beautiful jade necklaces, the Antigua Belle, for my Guatemalan daughter's 6th birthday. It really is a special gift for her since it is from her birth country and I know it is something that she will always treasure. You are a true craftsman. You're work is exquisite. Thank you, Lisa Madison, AL
Very beatufil jewlery! Excellent workmanship.
The earrings I bought were beautifull. Finally I have jewelry back from home. Thanx Pablo Castellanos
I recently purchased some more jade jewellery from Pablo and once again it is very beautiful, elegant and perfectly crafted. I purchased the earrings ""Heavenly Love"" and the earring and necklace set ""Mixco Lady"". The green jade used in ""Heavenly Love"" is a wonderful fresh colour and has a very fine texture. The earrings are modern, fun and appealling. The ""Mixco Lady"" series of jewellery is gorgeous, unique and classy. The lavender jade is subtly stunning and I think would look lovely with most skin, hair & eye tones. I think that Pablo has the gift of creating jewellery that enhances the natural beauty of women without drawing too much attention away from their features. He is obviously a dedicated craftsman who takes pride in his work, and I would recommend his jewellery to anyone, for yourself or as a gift which I believe anyone would love to receive.
I purchased the Jade cocktail ring ""Mixco Lady"" from Pablo Castellanos. This has been one of my favorite purchases from Novica. The ring fits true to size, the color and quality of the jade is better than what I expected, and the design is very stylish. I am a jade collector and never really know what to expect when I order online, but I am very pleased with how my ring turned out--right from the instant I took it out of the box. It only attests to the jewelry artist's high standards and attention to detail. From this experience, I will definitely be happy to buy more jade items from Pablo in the future.
Hi , I received the"" Swirling Seas "" Pendant the other day and how awesome it is, created out of a solid piece of jade. Wonderful craftsmanship, look forward to see some more at a later date.

FINDING YOUR SIZE

BUST / CHEST
Measure around the fullest part of chest under the arms and over the shoulder blades keeping the tape measure level.
