"I was born in Rio de Janeiro, and I started working when I was 16 years old, at a jewelry workshop running errands. When one of the workers left, I began to train as a silversmith but up to then, I had never imagined I would work in the field of jewelry. As I began training I realized I had a special talent to create original jewelry pieces, either in silver or gold.

"My mother has always supported my work. When I was 20 years old, I set up my own workshop at home so I could work on my own pieces. I began to exhibit my work at important fairs, such as the Ipanema Fair.

"My first designs were for the workshop I used to work for, and I received many compliments for my creations. However, when I started working on my own, my goal was to improve my skills by creating jewelry that was more beautiful and original. Since then, my designs have been appreciated in various fairs throughout Brazil.

"Rather than living off art, I live for art. I enjoy it when people admire my work, because it motivates me to continue creating as well as perfecting my skills. I am completely dedicated to this art. I hope to conquer people from around the world though my designs so that this relationship with Novica proves fruitful in the name of art."
