"I was born on 17 October, 1977 and I studied art at the Escuela de Bellas Artes Corriente Alterna. To me, the world of art is a marvelous thing. It is the complete form of time and space.
"I've been dedicated to jewelry design since the year 2000. My style is defined by a blend of elements, shapes and colors, always in search of harmony. I am attracted by the arabesques featured in the gates of old houses, as well as by the capricious patterns that are created by nature. They are so harmonious and well balanced.
"The work I do is very gratifying, however my greatest satisfaction comes from seeing people enjoying my creations as much as I enjoyed making them. My style is contemporary, it comes from the Peruvian day-to-day life, as well as from my travels throughout the provinces. Traveling has allowed me the opportunity to be near sceneries that are full of color, with people that are filled with energy. All of this, along with the fashion trends of every season, moves me to create pieces that are inspired in the strength, colors, and shades that define Peru's riches.
"I want to keep on designing without any limitations, always trying to create jewelry pieces that are harmonious and add a touch of character, color, and femininity.
"I am proud of my collections and of what I have achieved. My work is displayed in Cuzco and Arequipa, as well as in Belgium, Netherlands, USA, Greece and Australia.
"I used to work in marketing before 2000, and I gave it all up to be 100% devoted to painting, and this is when I discovered jewelry design. Since I have always been fascinated with fashion, I dedicated my time wholeheartedly to this art form. I learnt all about handling the necessary tools and my first creations were admired by my friends. Then they showed them to their friends, and so forth.
"Truth be told, it is people's reactions to my work that motivates me to keep on designing and creating. I hope my accessories will help others express themselves and define their own style."
