Pendant, 'Faith'

A single slab of lustrous sterling silver forms a cross of dramatic beauty. Centered by a faceted faux gem, it makes as striking statement of faith; its sparkling green beams suggest new life and growth. Sukanya Thongsri crafts this mesmerizing pendant by hand. She melts the silver-copper alloy in a crucible and decants it into a terracotta container. After beating it into shape on an anvil, she adds the elegant details and polishes the piece.
