"From childhood, I always enjoyed the manual arts. I began learning embroidery and crochet with my grandmother, but I didn't continue down that path. Then, as an adolescent, I became interested in the jewelry that I made for myself and for the women of the family but, due to my studies in school, I didn't continue this activity.
I always dreamed of painting on porcelain. That dream came true when I was already married with two children in school and I finally managed to take courses in this craft. For 11 years, I painted on porcelain with different techniques and I felt very pleased.
"Later, I continued traveling to other countries and I practiced other forms of artistic expression – tapestry, furniture restoration, decoupage on cardboard, wood and metal boxes, natural and artificial floral arrangements, until finally, my latent desire to craft jewelry grew stronger and stronger.
"My head was full of ideas and I started to create necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and wristwatches, initially for myself and my family. A short time later, I was selling them quite often to friends and neighbors.
"Little by little, I was seduced by my work with Brazilian stones until they now they are my principal material. I feel something special when I manipulate them – the energy and the beauty that emanates from them.
"I became aware of Novica through the Internet and, with their support, I am going international."
