"I was born on September 15, 1968 in Semarang, on the island of Java. Creating has always been a part of my life and I cannot stop thinking of new designs. I studied graphic gesign and I started working for other companies as a designer.

"In 1991, I decided to go to Italy, where I could explore better the different variations of art. Since then, I have focused mainly on the design of bags and jewelry. I like creating modern designs while preserving ethnic stylizations.

"After several years in Rome, I decided to return to my country, Indonesia, only this time to the island of Bali. Here I can explore and express my art much better. There is a strong cultural movement going on, which can be seen in different exhibitions, galleries, and magazines.

"I like to design for independent women, proud and confident of themselves. I love to work with silk, because it is glamorous, feminine and strong. Each of my designs is done through a careful process, from the first drawing until the last sewing, involving a lot of work and love."
