Dzifa Gakpleazi

Dzifa Gakpleazi was born in Ghana, on March 31, 1979. In 1990, while in secondary school, she began her long and fruitful destiny with artistic expression. Currently she is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree.

"I am is greatly inspired by her mother, who is seriously involved in bead-making. I used to help her at home, and she taught me how to combine traditional beads with copper tubes and glass beads," recalls Gakpleazi, as she explains that every bead is handmade and unique.

Not surprisingly, bead-making has become a part of Gakpleazi's life as well. She loves to create unique jewelry, just as she loves to wear it.
