"My background in Tourism and Travel is far from what I'm doing now. I used to work in a hotel but felt the place wasn't the type of career I wanted. So I joined a silver company owned by a foreign people, where I learnt all there is to know about jewelry design as well as making.

"In 2003, a friend inspired me to create my own sterling silver jewelry collections. I received great support and encouragement from my husband, so I took the chance and here I am now, enjoying being a jewelry designer.

"I love everything that has to do with jewelry, such as designing, the time spent discussing new designs with expert silversmiths, or thinking of the best way to promote my collections.

"Working six days a week means I hardly spend any time with my child, so we have made a deal that Sunday is our day – no work and no business. Sunday is exclusively a family day."
