"Hi friends, we are Rahul and Siddharth and we come from the beautiful pink city of Jaipur. Siddharth and I started working together in 2000 and since then, we have had a great time creating beautiful and exotic Indian jewelries. Both of us come from a long family lineage in traditional Indian jewelry design and crafting. I began to learn the art of jewelry while I was in college. I learned it from my father, whom I consider my mentor. Thanks to him, today I can say that my work is more refined and elegant.
"As a teenager, I used to love reading books about India's cultural heritage that featured the jewelries worn by Indian royal families. I have always been fascinated by them."
"I remember spending time with my father in his worship every day after school. I was always amazed at how a rough stone or chunk of silver could become elegant, flawless jewelry," recalls Siddharth. "Our families have been long-time friends, so we grew up spending a lot of time together. When our fathers met, they would talk endlessly about their work."
"We kind of had a mutual liking for gems and jewels while in school and college, but it wasn't until 2000 when we actually put our heads together and decided to start our own workshop, along with some talented silversmiths," says Rahul as he recalls the beginnings of their joint venture.
"We design a wonderful array of innovative silver jewelry with semi-precious stones in styles that are traditional, colorful and original. We are dedicated to creating jewelry with an inventive spirit. Most of our styles are inspired by the exquisite traditional designs of India, while a lot of attention is given to suit contemporary tastes."
"For us, success is more than a matter of clearly-defined objectives. It is a question of teamwork. For us, success is a matter of uniting our strengths in various disciplines and channeling our different ways of thinking towards the same direction," continues Siddharth. "Being associated with Novica offers us the opportunity to show our designs to larger, knowing audience."
