"From my early childhood in the city of de João Monlevade, Minas Gerais, I developed a great interest in the arts. I frequented art fairs and visited artisans' communities with my mother. At first, works in clay enchanted me, especially puppets. Soon thereafter, I developed a keen interest in our Brazilian communities that specialize in the dying of fabrics, and I spent much time in this realm.
"At the age of 20, I met a family in the interior of the state that specialized in ceramic jewelry. Several generations of family work together, creating a wide variety of necklaces with high-fired elements. With great enthusiasm, I began to work with that family, learning the technical skills involved in this type of craft.
“Today our jewelry is sold in several Brazilian cities and even abroad, where our colorful designs have enjoyed great success.
“Our work represents the essence of the tropics, and the happiness that characterizes our country, Brazil. I hope you enjoy it!"
