Carla Bettocchi

Carla Bettocchi was born on June 25, 1975. She is a licensed psychologist who specialized in marketing, but she found in jewelry design the perfect outlet for her creative instincts.

She is self-taught, and her passion began one day quite by coincidence: She had a party to go to and she wanted to wear unique jewelry, so she simply designed it herself. Her friends were so impressed they started asking her for identical pieces, but due to lack of time, Carla had to postpone this newfound art of hers.

Because of the economic situation of the country, Carla was laid off from work. Sitting at home unemployed, she was encouraged by her friends to take up jewelry design and they began placing orders. When she saw her friends' reaction to her designs, she felt inspired to diversify her pieces and to promote her work. She found overwhelming acceptance, to the point that she has now participated in exhibits.

Her intention is to inspire happiness through her jewelry as well as transmit the positive energy of gemstones. Designing and crafting jewelry brings Carla a sense of peace and relaxation. If she could, she'd pass all day long concentrating on her work.

Carla wishes to pass on to Novica clients all the positive energy that comes from the natural gemstones featured in her jewelry.
