"I love leather – good quality leather. This passion led me to design items such as bags, wallets, belts, cuffs and leather bracelets. I also like to combine good recycled teakwood to use in my leather designs, because for me it's a symbol of durability and beauty.

"I am the second of three children, born on March 6. When I was six years old, my mother warned me that the other children at school would make fun of me when I insisted on wearing two different color socks – like red and green – at the same time. Then, when I was 12 and had diploma festivities at junior high school, I argued with my mom about my clothes. I had a baseball cap and jeans and, after a lot of quarreling, I had to choose one or the other.

"Mother told me that when got older and had a good job, I'd also have to wear proper clothes to work. But I told her I'd always find a good job where I could choose my own style of clothes. Fifteen years later, my first real job after university was with a well-known Italian street fashion business.

"Many years later, I moved from Europe to Indonesia and started to work with furniture. Now I am doing leather fashion because I cannot get rid of my passion for fashion and design."
