"I was born in Huánuco on May 6, 1966. At the age of four, I showed such manual dexterity that my parents signed me up for piano lessons. For the next ten years, these classes were my favorite pastime. When I was ten, we moved to Lima. My father is a physician and his services were requested in the capital so I finished my schooling there.
"After graduating, my life took a 180 degree turn as I left artistic pursuits behind and focused on the intellect. I majored in business administration for my BA and master's degrees. I was a vehement child and always gave my best effort to achieve my goals.
"Even so, I felt that something was missing in my life. I'd given up the piano to focus on my studies but I suddenly realized it was art that made me feel satisfied. So I learned to combine my profession with my creative side.
"I went to Argentina where I took jewelry classes in a designer's workshop. In this way, little by little, art reawakened in me. I was really excited by the many textures that can be applied to silver and the shapes I can create with it. After this, I went to Brazil where I discovered the world of precious stones.
"Little by little, my vehemence had to make way for patience. Jewelry is an art that requires great calmness. I like to achieve things quickly and I paid for this with burns on my hands. Over time, I realized that if you dedicate the necessary time to your work, you'll achieve the quality you hope for and can create a true jewel. Through jewelry, I was reborn.
"I know I have much more to discover and I'm always applying new techniques to my work. I love achieving textures in my designs. Many of them are inspired by the cosmos, and my textures emulate the lunar surface. Through these textures, I hope shoppers will experience the satisfaction of finding a unique and well-made piece of jewelry.
"Among my goals are to perfect my work day by day, rediscovering silver and manifesting this living internal world inside me. My designs offer quality, elegance and distinction; they are unique designs for your whole life."
