"I was born in Lima on October 8, 1978. From the time I was a child, I was aware of my vocation in the arts. I was always making things, creating things with my hands. When I grew older, I decided to study art in the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. After graduating, I decided to design jewelry so I could put my knowledge into practice and give free rein to my imagination.
"In my designs, I try to show an innovative personal style – fun, magical and mystical where modern concepts blend with pre-Hispanic art.
"Since 2003, I've dedicated myself exclusively to jewelry design. I believe that a piece of jewelry can make you feel better, can lift your spirits. For me, jewelry should transmit magic and passion.
"My style has evolved little by little over time. Traveling through Peru, I discovered the grand and varied Andean cultures, and they inspire me to capture that feeling in fashion accessories.
"My greatest challenge was to dedicate myself to art. It was that way at first. But it's no longer a challenge, as I feel that I enjoy every experience and live my art with passion. Art became jewelry, and this has taken on an important place in my life. It is something that creates a kind of magic in me. My passion for jewelry grows every day with each new design."
