"Hi! I'm Cecilia Orozco and I'm proudly Mexican, the youngest of six children. I was born on October 3, and I'm a true Libra. I have two daughters whom I adore.
"My mother's family is from the state of Michoacán, famous for its vast variety of handicrafts. I grew up with love and respect for our artisans' creations.
"I've always liked design, art and esthetics, and everything related to them. When I was a little girl, I'd make necklaces and bracelets for my dolls with tiny macaroni beads.
"I studied fashion design without knowing this would lead me to discover my true vocation. I fell in love with jewelry. I've taken courses in painting and in gemology, and I was a ballet teacher for several years.
"When I create a design, I look for inspiration in music, in dance and in the open spaces that give me a sensation of movement and freedom. I look at the beauty of texture, the variety, form and color of every stone, pearl and crystal. When I fuse them with silver's life and power, I am able to transmit a feeling, a smile. But I always look after the quality and good taste, as this is what endures over time.
"I try to leave a bit of myself in every design. I seek beauty, balance and harmony with our environment, paying tribute to nature. A women grows emotionally when she wears a beautiful piece of jewelry. She reinforces her sense of femininity.
"To hear a 'thank you,' to see a smile, to receive a hug for a design of mine that someone likes – this is a satisfaction of infinite value."
