"I was born in Lima and majored in communications in college. One day I had a group project pending but something came up and the team broke up. It must have been destiny. I was really disappointed and looked around for something to keep me busy and, at the same time, I wanted to work independently.
"As though it were a game, my passion for jewelry surfaced and, without noticing, I was creating the designs that came to mind. I didn't want to stop. I began taking courses to learn the details I needed and today I carry on my studies and my jewelry making at the same time. One leads me to the other, permitting me to create more and more.
"My pieces are small works of art. I've been crafting them since 2004. For me, each design is something I can't explain. But when I'm finished, each one has been created with my own hands.
"It's like a chain reaction from the time I sit down to design the piece. Everything begins with an idea. Then I let myself imagine the color, the shapes, etc. Although many times I've begun a piece with nothing previously planned. I just let my ideas flow like a wellspring of the imagination."
