"As with most Balinese women, working 24 hours a day is part of life for me. I take care of the family and prepare offerings for the almost daily ceremonies in Bali. And I also work to help make some extra money for the family.

"Together with my husband, I create jewelry from sterling silver. There was time when we had to walk door to door to sell our work. Our creations are mostly traditional in design and some pieces are adorned with precious or semi-precious stones. So as not to be left behind, at the moment we are improving our knowledge of modern styles, which happen to be simpler, easy to wear, and can go with most outfits.
