"My name is Márcia Antonia Cotrim de Souza Magaldi. I make necklaces. I have my own style that blends the three biggest influences in my life.

"First, I taught geography for more than 30 years to many kinds of students, mainly those who live in urban slums. From them, I have learned to be simple and free, and to appreciate different colors and shapes.

"Second, I'm the mother of two teenagers. They gave me a modern view of beauty and fashion. "Third, I live in one of the sunniest, clearest and most beautiful places in Rio de Janeiro – Barra da Tijuca. Every day, my neighborhood teaches me how to appreciate elegant and gracious things."
