Zoila Tassara

"My name is Zoila R. Tassara Canevaro, born in Lima on 24 May, 1955 and I graduated in Psychology. Once I found myself with nothing to do and I was looking for something to occupy my time. A good friend of mine suggested jewelry design and she began to teach me. Eventually I was crafting my designs all on my own.

"To me, jewelry is more than an esthetic art. It is something that takes dedication, it is elegantly done, and its presence complements our beauty.

"My motivation comes from a sense of creativity and a desire for exclusivity. I try to blend elegance, beauty and artistry in each one of my designs.

"My greatest challenge is to remain a professional in whichever activity I perform.
