"My full name is Milagros Freitas Alvarado, and I was born on November 7, 1960. I graduated from university in 1982 with a degree in Business Administration. I worked in several corporations, but I constantly missed doing something more creative and artistic, where I could develop what I liked. That's how I entered into the world of jewelry design.

"Since I've always liked jewelry, I wanted to create my own pieces and believing that it’s a type of work that can be done in a nice environment, I decided to follow that path.

"I've never stopped searching for new ideas and projects, which is why I've taken several courses to refine my skills. I like finding out how to start and how to finish a piece, in order to achieve the highest quality.

"Making jewelry is very much a part of my life, and it's a means of expression that allows me to transform prime materials into real and beautiful things. It is gratifying to see women wearing my designs, which are inspired by what I see and feel each day. When I design a piece, I also take into consideration current trends.

"Being dedicated to art at this moment in my life is one of the biggest challenges I have encountered. I hope to stay in this business for a long time and be able to formalize it.

"I would like to give my thanks to Novica customers for being part of a team that appreciates my work. They are products that originate from a friendly country that is filled with culture and art. I love the cultural legacy in which I grew up, and I try to capture its essence through my designs."
