Malena

Magdalena Vigo Palomino decided to use "Malena" as her artistic name, since it refers to both her name, and that of her young daughter, Jennyfer Malena. Little Jennyfer Malena loves to watch her mother design and create items, and often helps her, or contributes creative ideas.

"I come from an artistic family. My cousins encouraged me the most with regards to jewelry design," explains Magdalena. "Nature is my biggest source of inspiration. I like to surround myself with all things natural and serene, so I can concentrate better. Each design is intended to transmit that sense of calm and love.

"My biggest challenge has been raising and providing for my little girl. I want to be able to give her a good education and see her become a professional. I want to be there for her when she becomes a mother and support her.

"The jewelry that I make is handcrafted with great effort and loving dedication. Please enjoy!"
