"I am so proud of my work. It comes from my heart. I use local materials that are easy to find and create designs in my own style."
"Sawasdee ka! My name is Kittima Ekmahachai or Kai. I am the elder daughter in the family and am very close to my younger sister because we are almost the same age. She is only one year old younger than I am. I was born in Nan province and grow up there. My family was a big family and everyone loved each other. Now I'm married and have a son and a daughter.
"In high school, I studied science and mathematics for three years and, in 1981, I was admitted to Chiang Mai University's School of Economics. I graduated four years later. In 1986, I worked as a staff member at The Royal Project center. After two years, I was promoted to head of marketing at the Chiang Mai branch where I worked for nine years. I had to resign when my husband's mother got sick so I could take care of her. I did really like this job, so when I quit, I was sad. Two years later, I started to make jewelry.
"I've liked art since I was young. I get it from my grandfather – he really loved art, so art is in my blood. I grew up in a cultural Thai family. I studied in local Thai schools, learned Thai dance, sing old Thai songs and I like to go to the temple.
"I live my life with consciousness. I do everything for the present and future, leaving the past behind. I am very happy with the things I've done. I like crafting jewelry and I am so happy with it.
"The most challenging thing in my life is change. Many things in my life are always changing, so I have to make sure that I can accept it. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad, so change is quite challenging for me. And I am glad that all the changes so far in my life have been good.
"My most impressive experience was joining the library club and visiting the hill tribe villages to read, teach Thai dance and lots of fun activities. I am so happy to be giving instead of taking.
"I am so proud of my work. It comes from my heart. I use local materials that are easy to find and create designs in my own style.

Hi Kai, got your jewelery today, the beautiful necklace with onyx, amethyst and garnet. It came in a beautiful box, nicely presented and I will love to give this to my daughter for her birthday. Thanks so much.
I received the necklace of gorgious amethyst beads ""Violet Champagne"" in the most exquisite jewelry ""box""-almost as beautiful as the necklace itself. The craftsmanship is excellent-the pictures do not do it justice. I have referred this site and artist to all of my friends. Thank you!!
Thank you for the lovely flourite earrings ""Blue Genie"". The gemstones are fascinating with beautiful colour and properties of light; they remind me of the crystal blue sunlit sea in the tropics. Kai, you have such an amazing sympathy for gemstones and ability to translate their magic into very wearable jewellery. Your work is outstanding value for money, and very enjoyable to own and wear. I hope that more people will discover the gorgeous variety of natural gemstones through your designs.

I just received the bracelet ""Beauty in Blue,"" and was amazed at how high the quality is. So many stretch bracelets fall apart immediately, but this one is made so well that I know I'll be able to wear and enjoy it for many years to come. It's also even larger than I expected -- thanks so much for your wonderful work, Kai Kittima! I know I'll be buying from you again.

FINDING YOUR SIZE
Take your measurements with the tape measure over your under garments. If your measurements fall between sizes you may prefer the next larger size. Inseam, skirt and dress lengths vary by style and will be listed in the item description. Our sweaters are knit in standard American sizes, however actual measurements vary by style.
BUST / CHEST
Measure around the fullest part of chest under the arms and over the shoulder blades keeping the tape measure level.
Measure around the smallest part of the waist keeping the tape measure comfortably loose. Most garments use the low waist measurement noted below.
Measure around the body approximately 1.5" below the natural waist (above). This is the area where most pants and skirts actually fit.
Standing with your heels together, measure around the fullest part of the body approx 7"-8" below the waist.
Measure around the base of the neck keeping the tape measure comfortably loose.
Bend elbow slightly and starting at the center back of the neck, measure across the shoulder, to the elbow and down to the wrist.
Our standard inseam length for women is 32" and 34" for men; however inseam measurements will vary slightly by style.
